Why is it so important?
Responsible breeders carefully select the dam and sire for litters by examining genetic, orthopedic and cardiovascular health and have their dogs certified with the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC). CHIC certification means that dogs have been screened for every disease recommended by the parent breed club and those results are publicly available in the database maintained by the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA). For genetic screening, we use Embark. Embark is a research partner of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
We stand behind the health of our puppies!
Because we do extensive genetic, orthopedic, optic and cardiovascular testing of our dogs, we make available a three year guarantee on the health of our puppies! We even provide genetic testing results on all our puppies to give you and your veterinarian peace of mind. As a result of all of this work to ensure the health of our puppies, we have been awarded the rank of a Blue Ribbon Breeder with the Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA), the premier breeding club of Goldendoodles. Both dam and sire of our 2023 litter are also AKC registered dogs.
Lifelong support for your puppy!
We are in this together. When you adopt a puppy you are making a lifelong commitment to the wellbeing of that dog. Like children, sometimes raising a dog takes a village. We are here for you for this entire journey. Whether you have questions about the right dog food, grooming, training needs, behavior or anything else we will be hear to answer questions, give advice or sometimes just listen. Unlike many breeders, our relationship doesn’t end when you take your puppy home. And if your circumstances change where you can no longer care for your dog, we will be here to welcome your dog come back to our home.
At Donnelly Doodles we work with our puppies daily to to set them up for success with their future families! We rely on evidence-based protocols developed by veterinary behaviorists, breeders and certified dog trainers to teach puppies to be calm enrichment seekers.
